Estimator / Commercial Construction | Melbourne
An established and well regarded commercial builder is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking to strengthen its estimating team with the appointment of an Intermediate Estimator. The business has built a strong reputation delivering projects in the $20m-$30m range and is now strategically stepping into larger Tier 2 opportunities valued between $50m and $70m+. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company at the right moment in its evolution, working alongside experienced Tier 1 leadership and helping shape the next stage of the business.
Responsibilities
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
* Subcontractor engagement and pricing analysis
* Value engineering and cost planning support
* Assisting in the preparation of competitive tender strategies
* Working closely with the delivery team to ensure smooth project handover
About You
* 4-8 years estimating experience within the Australian or New Zealand construction market
* Experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 commercial builder
* Exposure to projects in the $10m-$40m range
* Strong understanding of local subcontractor markets
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive mindset and desire to progress your career
