About the Role:
This position requires a sensitive and respectful approach when working with families, children or young people. Collaboration with other agencies and problem-solving skills are essential.
* Developing family goals aligned with their needs and addressing safety concerns
* Formulating safety plans and conducting risk assessments
* Managing cases, including high-needs and high-risk clients
* Supporting court processes, including document preparation and attendance
* A relevant qualification is preferred; two years' experience in child welfare also acceptable
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A valid driver's licence and paid clearance to work with children
* Verification of Aboriginality
