Recent example activities include:Fire Load Response Analysis;Hydrocarbon fire modelling for processing facilities;Hydrocarbon gas dispersion analysis for process facilities;Safety Management Systems and auditing;Safety Case support;Process Safety Management;Risk assessment, qualitative and quantitative;Advanced fluid flow modelling for process facilities;Seismic assessment and design; andBlast analysis and design for critical infrastructure.RequirementsCandidates must hold as a minimum a Bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering, Physics or Applied Mathematics and must be able to demonstrate excellent understanding of fundamental principles and strong problem solving ability. Programming skills and knowledge of statistical techniques would be an advantage.Key qualities are a willingness to learn new skills, to listen to the problem and to be open-minded about the solution.
