Overview
Reporting to the Haulage Operations Leader you will be working as part of the Aurizon maintenance team in Murrin Murrin (WA). This is a permanent position working an 8 & 6 FIFO roster and will see you exercise your mechanical skills in assisting with the operation and maintenance requirements of the Aurizon fleet.
Responsibilities
* Assist with routine servicing, corrective maintenance, and fault repair.
* Perform production work including operating machines, cleaning equipment and tools and assisting trade staff as directed.
* Perform general labouring duties as directed by leaders and coordinators.
* Utilise and input accurate data into information and maintenance management systems.
* Provide a high level of customer service to internal/external stakeholders.
About you
* Proven mechanical aptitude.
* Strong commitment to safety.
* High risk heavy forklift ticket.
* CN / reach stacker ticket (advantage).
* Ability to work cross functionally and as part of a team.
* Experience in working in a heavy industry, working around heavy machinery.
