About the role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant/ Medical Administrator focused on IVF/ Fertility Patient Care to join our Private OBGYN Clinic in Benowa, Queensland. This is a part-time role (2- 3 days per week) providing high-level executive support to our Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. This role will focus on enhancing the fertility journey for patients enabling a smooth and seamless first point of contact as well as ongoing care. Patient engagement will be a focus of the role as well as liasing with fertility nurse/ midwife.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive executive assistance to the Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, including diary management, referral triage and administrative support
* Managing patient enquiries and bookings and liaising with patients in a professional and empathetic manner
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, billing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
* Assisting with the coordination of the clinic's fertility and IVF treatment processes
* Supporting the Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in the preparation of medical reports and presentations
* Building patient engagement with fertility care/ IVF.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1 years experience as an Executive Assistant or Medical Administrator, preferably within a healthcare or medical setting. Ability to work from 0730 to 230 two to three days per week.
* A bubbly positive personality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to interact with patients in a professional and empathetic manner. Ability to anticipate the needs of both patients and OBGYN Specialist will be invaluable.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and maintain a dairy of ever changing appointments. Engaging with local medical professionals and arranging promotional engagements when required. Ability to work in a confidential manner maintaining the discretion of clients.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of fertility and IVF treatment processes would be highly advantageous.
* A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support for the specialist.
* Australian citizenship is required to be eligible for this position.
* Candidates must successfully complete a police background check as a condition of employment.
