**The Role**:
As a Stakeholder Engagement Adviser, you will play a critical role in supporting the Agency's leaders and key stakeholders. By fostering collaborative internal and external relationships, you will strengthen the Agency's brand and reputation while contributing to its strategic goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Lead formal consultations and informal engagement with key external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with government, regulators, and community groups.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies to manage risks and encourage participation in decision-making.
- **Communication and Documentation**:
- Prepare high-quality written responses for regulators, policy consultations, and key stakeholders.
- Provide detailed briefings and correspondence for senior leadership.
- Author and maintain stakeholder mapping registers and strategic engagement plans.
- **Internal Collaboration**:
- Work closely with senior leaders and internal teams to coordinate responses to stakeholder inquiries.
- Provide advice to support effective management of complex or high-profile business issues.
- Collaborate with communications teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Monitor trends in stakeholder engagement and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement engagement evaluation tools to measure stakeholder relationship health.
**About You**:
We're looking for someone who:
- Has demonstrated experience in building and influencing stakeholder relationships.
- Understands regulatory and government processes.
- Excels in written and verbal communication and has strong interpersonal skills.
- Can work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- Holds tertiary qualifications in planning, project management, law, communications, or a related field, or has extensive relevant experience.
