We are seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer to lead large-scale creative projects.
* This role will be responsible for leading large-scale creative projects, including heritage signage design and branding solutions across various mediums (print, digital, social, and environmental).
* As the Senior Graphic Designer, you will be part of the Reimagining Arts Centre Melbourne project, focusing on wayfinding and signage for the Theatres Building, situated underneath Melbourne's iconic Spire.
The position requires collaborative engagement with external specialists, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and resolving creative project issues as they arise.
This role emphasises operational excellence, with a focus on delivering high-quality design solutions on time and within budget, while aligning with the organisation's goals and maintaining strong communication throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead large-scale creative projects, including heritage signage design and branding solutions across various mediums
* Collaborate with external specialists to deliver high-quality design solutions
* Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Resolve creative project issues as they arise
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary degree in Communication Design or Graphic Design
* At least 8 years of experience in a creative agency or in-house studio, leading brand, signage, and campaign projects
* Senior-level expertise in creative design and technical skills for both print and digital, with a keen eye for detail in typography, layout, and producing effective design solutions
