Role:
We are currently looking for a Field Sales Manager to join our QLD Sales Team in a full-time position.
Your role will be to motivate and inspire your people by setting a clear expectation on high performance to deliver initiatives that exceed the agreed objectives in line with the AMES growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
Ensure achievement of budgeted territory sales growth targets on a State basis
Lead the team and develop/maintain excellent professional relationships with all team members
Drive incremental sales initiatives and further grow existing sales base
Maintain and enhance relationships with all major customers
Manage the weekly sales reporting to the Sales Manager.
Coordinate and participate at scheduled State Sales/Ops meetings.
Ensure the effective and responsible use of all company issued resources including the company vehicle, company credit card, mobile phone and IT equipment.
Skills and Attributes:
Demonstrated experience as a Sales manager at a State level
Leads own workload while working across multiple teams
High Level of Commercial acumen and awareness
Product knowledge in Garden/Home & Landscaping Hardware consumer products beneficial
Experience with Salesforce advantageous
Superior influencing and expert negotiation skills
Intermediate skills with Microsoft products and other information systems
The position comes with "Tools of trade" such as, fully maintained car, mobile phone and market competitive salary and bonus plan.
Previous Experience working in the hardware/garden industry is highly desirable
