**About the Role**
Key Responsibilities will include:
Management of Application Platforms
Architecture Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into next generation technical requirements and architectural designs.
- Establish and communicate architectural guidelines, principles, and best practices to ensure consistent and standardized solutions and architecturally aligned programs.
ERP & Group Services Systems Design:
- Lead the design and evaluation of Group Services systems, including but not limited to General ledger, Human resources, risk management and regulatory reporting platforms, and integration with third-party services.
- Analyse existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement, system consolidation, decommissioning and optimization of processes.
Technology Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, industry standards, and emerging innovations in the banking sector, including AI /advanced algorithms
- Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance the organization's banking capabilities and user experience.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure the architecture of Group Services systems complies with relevant security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the security and compliance teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
**About you**
- Extensive experience (typically 12+ years) in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on ERP systems and architecture.
- Proven experience as an enterprise and solution architect or a similar leadership role, overseeing complex architecture designs and implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of integration into various banking technologies, such as transaction processing systems, databases, APIs, cloud services, etc.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including but not limited to PCI DSS, GDPR, and SOX.
