"KS Cheema Pty Ltd, atf Cheema Family Trust t/as Goodyear Autocare Lawnton" is looking for a fully qualified and experienced motor mechanic to join our team at 663 Gympie Road, Lawnton, QLD 4501.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position for the right candidate with the required qualifications and experience.
The salary package offered is $75,000 - $80,000 depending on the level of experience in the field.
The prospective employee must have at least 1+ years of experience in light vehicle repair and maintenance along with related qualifications.
Responsibilities:
• Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
• Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle, such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
• Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
• Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialized equipment.
• Demonstrate behaviors that align with company policies and organizational values.
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
Requirements:
• Australian Trade qualification as a motor mechanic.
• Minimum 1+ years' experience
• Must hold a current driver's license with the ability to drive manual and automatic.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with quality workmanship and an eye for detail
• Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
• A roadworthy ticket is desirable.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and independently without supervision.
