Your new role
As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for identifying, educating, and managing relationships with clients across a designated sales territory. Your focus will be on promoting and selling a proven range of liquid fertiliser products to agricultural customers including growers, graziers, and agribusinesses. The role involves regular travel, strategic account management, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. You'll also contribute to marketing strategies, attend industry events, and support promotional activities to grow brand awareness and customer engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and servicing agricultural clients
- Managing key accounts and sales pipelines
- Delivering technical product information and presentations
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement strategic plans
- Attending industry events and identifying promotional opportunities
- Supporting factory operations and ensuring customer requirements are met
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in commercial sales, ideally within the agricultural sector
- Strong knowledge of farming practices and agribusiness
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients
- Strategic thinking and a results-driven mindset
- Confidence in delivering technical information and presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A current Queensland C Class Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel regularly and work in rural settings
