An Australian citizen with NV1 clearance is required for a 6-month contract with possible extensions as a Network Technician. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in implementing large-scale ICT networks using Arista equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementing and testing Quality of Service (QoS) DSCP markings of traffic to meet defined standards within secure federated environments.
* Developing highly available/fault-tolerant systems, networks, and infrastructure in a connected, partially connected, degraded, or disconnected state.
* Configuring technologies such as F5 BIG-IP, VMware vSphere/ESXi/NSX, Nutanix AHV, Arista, Gigamon, and Cisco Unified Communications VOIP/VTC systems.
Requirements:
* Detailed knowledge of different cyber security and network technologies.
* Experience in working on geographically dispersed and constrained networks, the associated security threat landscape, and related mitigations.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment to meet changing deadlines and shifting priorities.
