About the role
The Student Pathways Officer provides high‐level administrative service and specialist advice that guides students through their academic journey, from admissions and credit transfer to enrolment. This position manages records and databases, resolves complex inquiries, interprets intricate rules and policies, and contributes to departmental projects while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
About you
* Completed a diploma level qualification with relevant work experience, or a Certificate IV with extensive relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the capacity to quickly learn new systems and software packages.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in the interpretation and application of complex rules, policies and procedures.
* Ability to work in a high‐volume, deadline‐driven work environment with strong personal initiative.
* Required to provide a current Working with Children Check.

The Student Pathways team sits within the broader Student Journey portfolio, responsible for prospective student relationship management, domestic admissions and credit application management, fair and compliant offer processes, and recruitment and conversion activities for the University.
