SEND Teaching Assistants - Full-time or Part-time, starting as soon as possible
We are seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs across a variety of primary and secondary school settings in Camden and the surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities are ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact and enjoy working in diverse educational environments.
Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant
* Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs
* Assist teachers in delivering inclusive lessons and adapting resources
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) under guidance from teaching staff
* Promote a safe and positive learning environment for all learners
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant
* Previous experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting
* Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
* Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Salary and Benefits
Your salary—dependent on experience— is paid weekly through PAYE.
