Power Generation Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, commissioning, and ongoing support of power generation systems.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Power Generation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and skills across software and hardware selection, fault diagnosis/rectification, and remote and/or onsite field product support.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, calibration, commissioning, and ongoing support of power generation systems
* Providing technical knowledge and skills across software and hardware selection, fault diagnosis/rectification, and remote and/or onsite field product support
* Maintenance of safety, quality, and compliance standards
Requirements
* Australian 'A' Grade Electrical Workers License
* 2+ years' post-trade experience as an 'A' Grade Electrician (power generation systems and/or products advantageous)
* Possession or willingness to acquire an Electrical High Voltage Switching ticket
* Mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
* Knowledge and understanding of appropriate Australian and International Standards as well as relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
* Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
* Demonstrated understanding of the importance of effective customer management to build and maintain collaborative working relationships
* An ability to read and interpret single line diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical specifications
* Skills to complete testing, technical and administrative documentation to a high standard
