One Model is experiencing fast growth as a leading vendor in the growing people analytics space and we are looking for someone to help us create engaging product documentation and content such as videos, user guides, and embedded help.
With customers and staff around the world, One Model is a complete people analytics solution enabling companies to unlock the value of their HR data and use it to drive better decision making. One Model has been experiencing incredible growth and as we continue to scale-up, with a large (and pretty impressive) customer base, we want to provide learning materials and content to guide users through their end-to-end journey with the product.
You will have the opportunity to bring your creativity, communication skills and thirst for learning and work with an incredibly dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic team with incredible customers.
**What you'll work on**:
- Work closely with our Product, Engineering, Customer Success teams to create documentation and other content to explain how our product works and guide users.
- We want to take a modern creative approach to content creation and in addition to traditional help documents, customers are looking for bite-sized videos and feature walk-throughs as well as in-product context relevant help.
- The One Model product is still fairly new and we have an incredibly rapid innovation cycle, so you will have the opportunity to help shape the whole approach to user help materials. You will have the opportunity to help us define what great looks like when it comes to providing customers with practical, engaging content to help them get things done with the One Model product.
- Creating this content you will probably come up with heaps of ideas for ways to improve the product and as such will be an important part of our product management team.
**About you**:
- You'll have awesome writing skills and experience writing documentation for software products
- You will be able to work in a super fast agile environment, balancing competing priorities
- You will be able to translate complex technical ideas into easy to follow content
- You will have creativity and a flair for layout, design and comfortable working with lots of different technologies
- Analytical mind: You love solving large scale problems to help businesses thrive
- You will be able to develop a high level of understanding and empathy for our end-users, what they are trying to achieve and how we can help them get there..
- You have a growth-mindset: Startups move fast and need people that are constantly curious.
- Hands on experience in a product documentation, technical writing, content creation role, or related role
- Degree or certification in software engineering, computer science, business, marketing, communications or related field
- Familiarity with cloud computing (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google)
