You will be required to travel throughout the Shire to support multiple clients each day (travel between clients will be reimbursed with .99 cents per kilometre travelled while you work back in your pocket).This is a Permanent Part Time opportunity with up to 20 hours available, working hours will be between 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, no evening or sleepover shifts. There is some flexibility for hours to be within school hours. We are needing availability Monday to Friday to ensure we can meet the needs of our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist clients to improve their independence according to their identified needs and goals inclusive of:In home supports:Domestic assistance such as light cleaning and houseworkPersonal careAssistance with meal preparationCommunity Connections supports:Social support & linkingShopping assistanceAssist clients to improve their independence in according to their identified needs and goalsEstablish a rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their familySkills & ExperienceCertificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar)QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)Excellent organisational skills, hygiene practices and problem-solving abilitiesAn Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insuranceStrong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationshipsA current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)Part Time hourly rate from $33.41 per hour + Super +.99 cents per kilometre travelled while you workWork independently whilst supported by a dedicated leadership teamSimple and easy to use technology to record your timesheets and kilometresSupported career development with opportunities to learn and take on new challenges nationallyFrameworks and policies in place providing you with clear guidelines and supportSuccessful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients.
