The Role

The Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch is a very busy organisation which is never dull and no two days are the same.

The Maritime Integrated Warfare System (MIWS) Branch requires two EL1 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Managers to provide critical leadership and management across two key areas:

* MIWS E&L Matrix Team
* Hunter Class Frigate Combat System (HCF-CS) Program

Both positions are essential to delivering and integrating complex maritime capabilities, ensuring operational readiness, and supporting long-term sustainment for the ADF.

The EL1 ILS Managers will lead and manage ILS teams responsible for planning, delivering, and integrating ILS elements across MIWS projects and the HCF CS Program.

These roles ensure Whole of Combat and Whole of Ship integration from an ILS perspective and compliance with Branch, N4, and Seaworthiness standards. They are accountable for guiding multidisciplinary teams comprising ADF, APS, and MSP personnel to achieve ILS outcomes.

Key responsibilities common to both positions include:

* ILS guidance and support to projects and programs
* ILS Training and workforce development
* Technical assessments and assurance
* Maintenance program development
* Life cycle cost modelling and analysis
* Supply chain and spares modelling
* Technical publications and documentation
* Input to Support (CS) strategy
* ILS related Government Furnished Materiel (GFM) management
* Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC) management
* Industry ILS governance and assurance

These positions are critical to the success of MIWS and HCF CS programs. They provide leadership, technical expertise, and governance to ensure compliance with standards, integration of systems, and achievement of ILS outcomes.
