Glenmore State High School is seeking a passionate and dynamic leader to drive excellence within the Arts and Hospitality Departments.
As Head of Department (Secondary) with a focus on Creative Industries, you will be a skilled instructional leader with strong organisational skills and subject expertise. You will lead a collaborative team to shape an engaging curriculum, with a focus on quality teaching and learning for improved student achievement. You will have demonstrated experience in leading within the Creative Industries and/or Hospitality faculty areas.
This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis.

About The Role
As the Head of Department - Creative Industries, you will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
* Lead the Arts and Hospitality Departments to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
* Set high standards for student and staff performance within the Arts and Hospitality Departments.
* Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
* Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
* Be futures oriented and strategic.
