We are seeking a skilled SAP SRM Finance System Support Officer to manage system solutions, governance, and process improvements. The role focuses on ensuring solution availability, access controls, configuration, interfaces, master data, and dashboard reporting.
This position involves working closely with Strategic Procurement, Procure to Pay (P2P), and Information Management & Technology (IM&T) teams, supporting critical reports like Senate Orders, Payment Times, and Indigenous Supplier Nation. You should have strong knowledge of procurement and payment processes, with experience in SAP SRM, MM, and FICO modules being highly desirable.
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills to collaborate with business system owners and stakeholders, facilitating workshops and driving system enhancements to meet business objectives.
Your duties will include :
* Supporting day-to-day operations by responding to user helpdesk inquiries.
* Coordinating with other service desks to maintain the issue register and provide up-to-date reporting.
* Assisting with user access and system controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Monitoring exception reports and handling error logs.
* Investigating and raising system issues with relevant parties.
* Analyzing new releases and informing the business area.
* Assisting with vendor maintenance and payment issues.
* Carrying out analysis for field and file mappings for data loads or interfaces.
* Documenting business processes and writing business requirements.
* Performing analysis and advising on solution options with recommendations.
* Developing test plans and performing user acceptance testing, including troubleshooting and improvements.
Location : Open to being based in any Australian city with a CSIRO site.

To be considered you will need :
* Relevant trade certificate, diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in finance or IT as a business and system analyst in the public sector.
* Exposure to SAP SRM, MM, & FICO modules as a user.
* Excellent user support skills, including SAP master data, transactional data, and interfaces.
* Strong customer service, dedication, communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to use Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence.
* Understanding of government procurement and payment policies and procedures.
