Role Overview:
This is a dynamic role that involves providing exceptional customer service to passengers on rail services while ensuring safety on and around the station. Key responsibilities include selling tickets, making announcements, assisting passengers, maintaining the cleanliness of the station and its facilities, and coordinating bus replacements during disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gain a certificate in customer operations
* Communicate accurate and timely information to customers about rail services and other forms of public transportation
* Identify and report safety hazards or incidents
* Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the station and its facilities
* Ensure safety on and around the station for customers, colleagues, and yourself
Requirements:
* A valid driver's license
* Successful completion of year 10 or equivalent
* Ability to work independently and proactively without supervision
* Ability to adapt to changing environments
* Previous experience in a customer service environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong safety culture and willingness to adhere to company values
