Monadelphous is seeking an experienced SMP Superintendent to join our Engineering Construction division, supporting the delivery of a major mining and minerals project in Western Australia. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this is a key site leadership role responsible for overseeing all SMP construction activities across a large-scale, multi-discipline project. The position will initially commence in the Perth office from mid/late June, before transitioning to site mid/late August on a 2:1 FIFO roster.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and mentor SMP supervisors and crews to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate SMP construction activities to meet project timelines and productivity targets
* Monitor progress against schedules and proactively identify and mitigate risks to cost, schedule, and quality
* Promote and drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and regulations
* Provide technical guidance across structural, mechanical, and piping scopes
* Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to optimise resource utilisation
* Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
* Liaise with client representatives and key stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and identify variations or additional scope
* Work collaboratively with E&I and other discipline teams to ensure integrated project delivery
What You'll Bring
* Trade qualification (mechanical/structural/piping or similar)
* Extensive experience in a Superintendent role on large‐scale mining, minerals, or major construction projects
* Proven capability managing and coordinating multi‐disciplinary SMP teams and supervision onsite
* Strong background working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors
* High‐level planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and workforce wellbeing
* Strong knowledge of SMP construction methodologies and site execution practices
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and to a high standard
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
