About the Role
The Associate Director, Event Investment - Culture, Entertainment & Creative Industries is responsible for leading and managing strategic event investment and development opportunities for the cultural, entertainment and creative industries, delivering a sustainable and diverse annual events calendar that drives economic and social benefits to NSW and, positions Sydney and NSW as the events capital of the Asia Pacific. The role leads strategic activities aligned with the Major Events Strategy to identify new investment, acquisition and, event development opportunities within the entertainment, performing arts and creative industries.
This is a Clerk Grade 11 / 12 position with a base salary commencing at $139,787 plus superannuation.
Essential Requirement
Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated broad range of relevant professional experience in the events industry across, entertainment, festivals, government, community and performing arts events.
Demonstrated high-level leadership ability and negotiation skills.
Experience managing budgets and financial processes. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management, delivery and interpretation of contracts.
