Job Title: Technical Officer
As a technical officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing your knowledge across various electronic systems. This role requires someone who is passionate about technology and is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Maintain and update technical knowledge on electronic systems, including analogue and digital systems
* Conduct tests and analysis of results to identify areas for improvement
* Perform modifications and upgrades to electronic assemblies
* Lead off-site work as required to support submarine maintenance tasks
* Provide professional advice to improve repair systems and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of electronic engineering principles, previous experience in a defence industry environment and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have Cert III in Electronic Engineering or equivalent, and be eligible to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance.
