Our Role:
* Identify client needs and link them to our service capabilities.
* Recognize business/strategic opportunities for all divisions of the practice.
* Deliver audit and assurance services in line with our methodology and contribute to its robustness and updatability.
* Ensure audit and assurance services comply with law, regulatory standards, and professional requirements.
* Lead/administer audit & assurance practice, including engagement scheduling, quality control, fees, budgets, audit methodology, HR issues, staff performance.
* Conduct financial statement audits across various clients (listed companies, large and small companies, incorporated associations) across a wide range of industries.
* Conduct other audit & assurance engagements (e.g., independent accountant reports, internal control reviews, grant acquittals, trust account audits).
* Responsibility for audit/assurance engagements from start to finish, including completion of own work, delegation of work to audit team members, and review of audit work papers.
* Responsibility for WIP, ensuring necessary action is taken immediately.
Key Qualifications:
* CA ANZ qualifications or equivalent.
* Bachelors' degree in accounting, business, or commerce.
* Completion of all mandatory educational requirements and required audit experience to satisfy Australian regulatory requirements to gain registration as an ASIC Registered Company Auditor.
* Strong technical and analytical skills.
* Minimum 10 years proven senior audit experience across a variety of audit clients and industries.
* Proficient in use of Caseware audit software for conduct of audits and preparation of financial statements.
* Knowledge of current developments in accounting, auditing, Corporations Law, taxation/general laws, and an understanding of general business environment.
Working Arrangements:
Full-time position available, Monday to Friday schedule. All auditors attending client premises must be up to date with COVID vaccinations.
