About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at Darling Downs ENT in Toowoomba, Queensland. This is a full-time position and will involve providing exceptional customer service to our patients, as well as supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of our specialist medical practice.
What you'll be doing
1. Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
2. Booking appointments and managing the patient schedule
3. Handling patient enquiries and providing information about services
4. Maintaining accurate patient records and medical histories
5. Assisting with the processing of payments and claims
6. Ordering and maintaining medical supplies and stationery
7. Providing general administrative support to the clinical team
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner
3. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
4. Proficient in using medical practice software and technology - Genie experience preferred
5. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
6. Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
