Asset Management Specialist / Reliability Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated asset management specialist/reliability engineer
to support our client in the Bowen Basin.
About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and optimising maintenance strategies across
a diverse portfolio of fixed plant and electrical infrastructure. This role focuses on
improving asset performance and compliance to statutory requirements by deploying
fit for purpose maintenance regimes.
You will work closely with projects, maintenance and planning teams to ensure
maintenance strategies are deployed accurately and efficiently in consultation with
relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and validate asset data to develop and maintain a comprehensive
repository of asset information required for strategy development.
Develop fit for purpose maintenance strategies using dedicated maintenance
strategy software, ensuring alignment with existing approved inspection
regimes for similar equipment.
Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to review strategies and obtain
formal endorsement.
Facilitate the deployment of approved maintenance strategies into CMMS
systems.
Ensure maintenance tasks are technically feasible and structured into
executable work packages that align with labour and operational constraints.
Proactively maintain asset strategy libraries and monitor deployed strategies
to drive continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Degree in engineering/trade qualifications (electrical background preferred)
with exposure to electrical asset management and reliability.
Demonstrated experience in creating and deploying maintenance strategies in
a heavy industry environment.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings and engineering
documentation to validate/inform maintenance strategy.
Understanding of reliability methodologies namely RCM.
Experience with CMMS / maintenance strategy systems – SAP or similar.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
