**Job Description:**
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs), agents, corporate clients, and event venues to proactively source new business.
* Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing actionable insights to hotel leadership and revenue management teams.
* Prepare and negotiate tenders, rates, and terms to secure new business while hosting site inspections and presentations for potential and current clients.
* Collaborate with operational departments to ensure seamless implementation of new business, fostering excellence in customer service and repeat business opportunities.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Proven experience in business development or sales within the hospitality, events, or related industries.
* Familiarity with market segments, including MICE, Corporate, Entertainment, Sporting, and Leisure.
* Strong Communication and Presentation skills for conducting site inspections, engaging clients, and securing business deals.
* Organisational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, appointments, and operational coordination seamlessly.
