The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner plays a vital role in facilitating learning, driving change, and guiding professionals towards desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Professional Onboarding: Develops, implements, and coordinates comprehensive orientation programs for new team members.
* Research and Evidence-Based Practice: Serves as a resource for clinical inquiry, providing expertise in identifying potential projects and subject matter areas.
* Leadership and Development: Collaborates with colleagues to advance their professional growth, transitions, and succession planning.
* Education and Training: Designs engaging, interactive educational activities rooted in adult learning principles, focusing on delivering state-of-the-art training.
Requirements:
* Essential Qualifications:
o Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
o Two years of nursing experience
o Current, valid Florida State of Nursing license as a registered professional nurse
o Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
o Advanced Life Support Provider Certification, per specialty
* Desirable Qualifications:
o Master's degree in nursing or related field
o Prior experience as a preceptor/educator
o Previous teaching experience in formal/informal settings
o Certification as Nursing Professional Development Educator
