Strategic Regional Leader
CQUniversity is seeking a visionary leader to drive regional growth, foster impactful partnerships and oversee campus operations in Cairns and Townsville. As Associate Vice President, you will be the public face of CQUniversity in the North and Far North Queensland regions, representing the institution in local forums and leading strategic initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Represent the institution across the region, advancing our mission, priorities and strategic agenda.
* Business Development & Engagement: Identify and create commercial opportunities, community partnerships and innovative education delivery models to drive sustainable revenue and growth.
* Regional Growth Initiatives: Work collaboratively with senior executives to develop high-impact programs and strategic projects aligned with our long-term vision.
* Committee & Stakeholder Leadership: Lead regional committees and forums, provide guidance to staff, foster cross-campus collaboration and support business growth opportunities.
* Culture & Performance: Champion a high-performance culture that enhances staff experience, student success and community trust.
Requirements

* Proven leadership and management skills

* Experience in business development and commercialisation
* Strong understanding of regional development and community engagement
