About Us
Wilson Diesel Services is a growing family‑owned mechanical business that looks after mining, civil and corporate fleets right across the Barkly. Our LV workshop is getting busier every month, and with more work coming in we're looking to bring on two experienced Light Vehicle Leading Hands to work back‑to‑back and take charge of the day‑to‑day running of the workshop.

* Enforcing WHS, site requirements and quality workmanship.
* Managing LV parts, stock, consumables and inventory.
* Bringing fresh ideas to lift productivity and streamline workflow.
* Mentoring apprentices and developing junior staff.
* Maintaining accurate job cards, service records and compliance documentation.

* Confident communicator with solid client‑facing skills.
* Strong organisational and workforce coordination ability.
* Proven experience managing stock, consumables and inventory.
* Trade Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic.
* Current C‑Class licence.
What We Offer
* up to $65 per hour, including superannuation, flights, meals, accommodation and productivity bonuses.
* Guaranteed hours – 10‑hour days.
* 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off—equal time at home.
* FIFO from Alice Springs, Darwin or Katherine.
* All flights paid.
* Accommodation and meals provided.
* No commute – walk from your room to work and back.
* Incentives available for the right candidates.
* Direct access to owners/decision‑makers — no red tape.
* Career progression in a rapidly growing regional business.
The Lifestyle
This is a role built for people who want:
* Plenty of time at home.
* Long‑term stability.
