Gibbs Air & Refrigeration Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated HVAC & Refrigeration business servicing the Mackay region. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and organised Administration Officer to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in supporting a busy operations team.
About the Role
Reporting to the management team, your responsibilities will include:
* General office administration and day-to-day support
* Answering phones and responding to emails
* Gathering timesheets and assisting with payroll administration
* Data entry, Fleet & Safety management
* Ordering spare parts and organising of freight
* Job creation, scheduling support, and record management
* Filing, document control, and maintaining internal systems
* Liaising with technicians, suppliers, and customers
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in an administration or office support role
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in a trade or service-based business (highly regarded but not essential)
