Job Title: Bushfire Mitigation Leadership Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Bushfire Mitigation Leadership Role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about bushfire mitigation and wants to make a real difference in their community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bushfire Mitigation Planning: Lead and coordinate bushfire mitigation planning activities, including risk assessments and evaluations.
* Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of Bushfire Mitigation Officers and First Nations officers.
* Operational Support: Act as Chief Fire Warden in absence and support bushfire operations.
* Regulatory Compliance: Oversee Fire Warden appointments, training, and support. Manage the Permit to Light Fire system and collaborate with the Bushfire Mitigation Unit.
* Data Management: Support bushfire risk data management and serve as a liaison for intelligence sharing.
