Role
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Lifeguards to join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for day‐to‐day pool operations within our facility and ensure that all areas, both in and surrounding the pool, are safe and enjoyable for all patrons.
You will have a passion for safety around the water and should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. Outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence are essential to ensure patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.
Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with patrons of diverse ages, abilities, cultures and needs. Flexible availability is required: opening shifts commencing at 5:45 am and closing shifts finishing at 9:00 pm, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required.
Skills & Attributes
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
* Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valuable part of the team
* Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
* Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* National Police Check
* Previous experience and success in a comparable role is highly regarded (but not essential)
* Current Pool Operations Certificate is highly regarded (but not essential)
