Job Title: Clinical Governance Advisor
This role will oversee and support all clinical governance aspects across our support services. The position is based in Darwin, NT.
* Responsibilities include providing clinical advice on policies and procedures, projects, reports and data interpretation that contribute to quality improvement processes, risk management systems and the overarching clinical governance framework.
The successful candidate will strengthen our focus on Clinical Governance and aim to support consistent implementation of well-informed practice.
About This Role
This position supports a clinical risk management system, particularly risks associated with safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provision of clinical advice on policies and procedures, projects, reports and data interpretation.
* Support for quality improvement processes, risk management systems and clinical governance framework.
* Development and implementation of organisational or system level clinical governance.
Requirements:
* Formal qualification and significant experience as a Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker or Mental Health Professional, registered with relevant board.
* Demonstrated experience in preparing and engaging in accreditation processes.
* Experience in successfully developing and implementing clinical governance frameworks.
* Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
* High level knowledge of contemporary approaches to safeguarding children, mental health, social and emotional wellbeing and complex trauma.
* Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
