About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Tradesman with strong TIG welding and finishing skills to join our team. This is a full‐process fabrication role, not a repetitive production position.
Responsibilities
* Reading and interpreting drawings
* Material prep and layout
* Folding on brake press
* TIG welding (stainless steel)
* Grinding, sanding, and high‐quality polished finishes
* Assembly and final detailing
* Occasional in‐office installation
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in commercial kitchen or bar fabrication
* Strong TIG welding experience in stainless steel
* Experience with stainless steel finishing and polishing to a high standard
* Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
* Experience across the full fabrication process (not just welding)
* Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own jobs
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in stainless steel fabrication
* Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent
* Experience operating brake press and general workshop equipment
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload
Licences & Requirements
* White Card (NSW)
* Current driver's licence
* Own hand tools
* Physically fit for workshop and site work
