Overview 
Due to ongoing growth and some exciting project wins, AECOM is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Sydney office. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from a robust team of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists. 
Responsibilities 
Completing desk studies, planning, and delivering ground investigations and preparing associated factual and interpretive reporting 
Providing a strong competency in ground characterisation, geotechnical parameter assessment and high-quality reporting 
Assisting in the preparation of bids and proposals and attending meetings with contractors and clients, both external and internal 
Mentoring and developing junior engineers and facilitating opportunities that build team competency 
Qualifications 
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent) 
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Demonstrated competency in scoping, planning, and managing geotechnical investigations 
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Sequent and Rocscience specialist software
