We're currently seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Pit Patroller to join a high-performing team on an industry-leading mining project in Western Australia.
This role would ideally suit someone with prior experience as a Pit Patroller, or an experienced mining operator looking to step into a new and rewarding direction within production operations.
About the Role As a Pit Patroller, you'll play a critical role in the safe and efficient coordination of pit activities. Responsibilities include:
* Conducting field inspections and reporting
* Monitoring equipment and personnel in-pit
* Supporting load and haul operations
* Liaising with control room and supervisory teams
* Ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures
You'll work 12-hour days on a family-friendly 8:6 dayshift-only roster – no night shifts – with super paid on all hours worked.
To Be Considered, You Must Have:
* Previous Pit Patroller experience (preferred)
– OR – proven experience as a mining operator with a strong desire to transition into this role
* Good understanding of the mining environment and production operations
* Exposure to or experience with systems like CAT MineStar and Frontrunner (advantageous)
* HR licence (required)
* Full Australian work rights
* Must reside in Western Australia
* Valid driver's licence
