Lead Medical Executive is a pivotal leadership position responsible for strategic oversight of Medical Services and Clinical Governance across Central Highlands to meet organisational and community needs.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the General Manager (GM) and Executive Director (ED) together with the Leadership team, providing expert advice in resolving complex challenges.
This role involves driving a quality improvement culture as a core member of the Central Highlands management team. The successful candidate will be involved in developing high performing teams with functional capability in providing healthcare to consumers across a large and diverse geographical area.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic planning and implementation of Medical Services and Clinical Governance initiatives.
* Collaboration with stakeholders to promote quality improvement and effective service delivery.
* Leadership and development of high performing teams to drive business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Fellowship of either the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or fellowship of another appropriate Australian specialist college.
* Enrollment and maintenance of ongoing CPD program with the appropriate bodies is mandatory.
