We’re looking for a Head of Content to level up Urban List’s editorial strategy and lead its passionate crew of editors, content creators, designers and SEO experts across seven offices. This role is key to growing our audience, evolving content formats, and building brand credibility in high-value commercial categories while delivering culturally relevant, best-in-class content that keeps Urban List ahead of the curve.
You will be a commercially savvy content leader with 10+ years of experience managing teams in content creation and audience development within fast-paced digital lifestyle media environments. An empathetic, data-obsessed leader with a passion for the hospitality and lifestyle industries, you know how to create engaging content that drives both audience loyalty and revenue growth.
In this role, you will:
1. Define and execute a content strategy that sets Urban List’s brand apart
2. Grow and engage our audience across website, email, social, and emerging platforms
3. Lead and inspire a high-performing content team and freelancer network
4. Champion data-led decision-making and a culture of continual improvement and optimisation
5. Build Urban List’s authority in key verticals, strengthening audience trust and commercial value
6. Create high-impact editorial opportunities that support brand partnerships
