Job Title: Social Worker Leader
At Hunter New England Health, we are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable clinician to lead our team in providing high-quality healthcare services to children and young people in care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on trauma-informed practice, child development, and psychosocial needs of children and young people.
* Lead the clinical direction of the team, upholding best practice and supporting the development of high-quality health management plans.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including allied health clinicians, nurses, and other professionals to provide comprehensive healthcare services.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, working closely with management and clinical staff to achieve this goal.
* Supervise and mentor team members, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.
Requirements:
* Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Eligibility to drive in NSW and a willingness to travel as required.
