Claims Recovery Consultant – Call Centre (General Insurance)

About the Role
This is a full-time, in-office call centre role where you’ll manage general insurance claims (primarily motor), assess liability, and recover funds from at-fault parties. You'll handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, negotiate outcomes, and help resolve disputes — all in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
•Manage a portfolio of general insurance claims to resolution (end-to-end)
•Make and receive calls to discuss claims and negotiate recoveries
•Assess liability, draft recommendations, and progress claims
•Ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines
•Support customers, including those experiencing financial hardship
What You’ll Bring
•Strong communication, empathy, and negotiation skills
•High attention to detail, time management, and resilience
•Ability to thrive in a high-volume call centre setting
•Insurance or claims experience (desirable but not essential)
•Familiarity with road rules and liability (a bonus)
