Job Title: Community Rehabilitation Specialist
As a Community Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for applying evidence-based case management practices to individuals at medium or high risk of reoffending. Your primary goal will be to facilitate the rehabilitation of these individuals, thereby promoting greater community safety.
The role requires identifying and evaluating factors that relate to individual offending behaviour, as well as motivating and influencing individuals in the case management process. You will also be responsible for producing detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines, and monitoring individuals' compliance against order requirements.
* You must demonstrate assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours.
* Building positive working relationships and being part of a small, close-knit team is essential.
* A thorough understanding of case management practices relating to complex individuals is required.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to motivate those around you.
