We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our head office in Brisbane.
About the Role:
This role is responsible for the sourcing, conducting detailed product analysis, supplying alternative recommendations and purchasing of services and supplies, along with inventory control duties in line with project requirements. Ensure that all goods purchased comply with the relevant technical standards, meet all quality, time, financial, safety and environmental requirements for the Project and in compliance with Vinci Policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high degree of analytical Procurement Reporting to senior corporate and project management
- Ability to manage a small team of procurement personnel and assign/delegate works according to the needs of the Project
- Provide detailed guidance to the Project Management Team regarding proposed Procurement Strategies
- Training new Hires with regards to Procurement Procedures and Buying Strategies
- Receive and action 'Simplified Requests' (material requests) from internal stakeholders
- Prepare Vendor 'Request for Quotations' including technical scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety and environmental requirements
- Negotiate successful commercial outcomes with Vendors
- Prepare internal approval documentation and load into ERP System 'Si Compta'
- Draft Services and Supply Agreements and negotiate Terms and Conditions for high value works
- Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain best for business and project opportunities, identifying potential alternative products and services to improve the finance, time, quality, safety or environmental performance for the business/ project.
- Ability to assist in the development of tender document responses, developing detailed management plans, assisting the estimating team. Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholder to obtain best possible position in line with Spiecapag tender approval requirements.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Minimum Cert IV in Purchasing or related experience
- Purchasing/ Buying or related experience (6 + years) in heavy or infrastructure construction, preferably in the pipeline construction field
- A very high level of analytical Reporting
- Practical experience using an ERP system preferably Si Compta, or similar
- A high level of English language skills, both written and oral
**Salary**: $160,000.00 - $176,731.54 per year
