RETAIL ASSISTANT – Hamilton Island, The Deckhouse
Hamilton Island is the home of sailing and The Deckhouse offers quality clothing and accessories from some of the worlds most prestigious sailing brands. We are currently seeking a Retail Assistant to operate our busy stores on Hamilton Island.

Where you’ll make an impact
- Work autonomously to up-sell products and exceed customer expectations
- Provide exceptional and quality service to our qualia guests
- Assist with store merchandising and stock-take
- Ensure inventory is appropriately maintained and ordered to meet all targets
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role.
To be successful, you will need
- Boutique retail experience required
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Confidence and strong communication skills
- A flair for effective merchandising
- Ability to work autonomously as well as with a team
- Strong knowledge and passion for high end Australian designers
- Strong administration background, experience using Microsoft Office
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
