Position OverviewThe Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a metric data-based strategy to enhance the performance of automated lines.

The candidate should demonstrate Mustad values, showing respect and engagement with co-workers, contributing to quality products and organizational success.Essential Job FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Participate in developing project plans and timelines, including defining scope, goals, requirements, estimating resources, and establishing schedules.Conduct research, analysis, and technical evaluations to improve maintenance department operations.Create project documentation such as plans, specifications, design/test documents, and reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, and engineering to ensure project success.Provide technical support during project implementation.Stay updated on new projects, emerging technologies, and share knowledge with the team.Monitor machine performance, inspect, and gather data to support reliability-centered maintenance.Support asset criticality assessments and manage the equipment database.Standardize preventive and predictive maintenance approaches and repair techniques.Use AutoCAD / Creo to generate machine or P&ID diagrams.Education, Experience, and Skills RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following criteria:Minimum of 2 years completed towards a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Recent graduates must be within 1 year of graduation.Focus on Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.No prior experience required.Physical DemandsExtended periods of sitting, standing, and viewing screens.Infrequent lifting up to 25 lbs.Work EnvironmentOffice setting within a manufacturing/distribution facility.Exposure to plant and warehouse environments, including heat, humidity, dust, fumes, chemicals, airborne particles, and loud noise.Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment.Mandatory use of PPE following safety and SOP regulations, including Mustad Performance System (MPS).Additional InformationThis description outlines the minimum education, experience, and skills required.
