About The Role
Reporting to the Client Service Manager, this role is responsible for quoting and managing projects for our existing clients as well as actively identifying and securing new business opportunities. We're seeking a proactive and results-driven professional who can work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Establishing, developing, and maintaining strong business and customer relationships
* Actively pursuing new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research
* Resolving customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
* Achieving agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
* Developing competitive quotations based on client requirements
* Setting and managing budgets effectively
* Reporting on project status and progress
* Managing labour and plant/equipment resources
* Ensuring compliance with all HSEQ requirements
About You
To be successful, you will:
* Have proven experience in a similar role
* Possess strong selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Demonstrate effective communication and relationship management abilities
* Show exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
* Demonstrate strong prioritisation, time management, and organisational abilities
* Be willing to learn and embrace professional growth opportunities
* Adapt positively to change in a fast-paced environment
* Hold formal qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
* Hold a current Electrical licence
* Hold a current Driver's Licence and General Construction Induction Card
* Hold a Cabler's licence (preferred)
