Stockroom Inventory Manager
Job Description:
This is a fast-paced role that requires a motivated individual who is proactive and enjoys working in an environment that is integral to the efficiency of the business.
As the Stockroom Manager, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and appropriate levels of stock are maintained to meet customer demand. This involves driving scheduled cycle counts to make informed decisions on what stock needs to be adjusted to avoid out of stock SKUs.
You will utilize and interpret data and reports to support operational duties and reduce shrinkage loss. Consistently monitoring and investigating negative stock levels and following up with the store team as necessary is also key to this role.
A continuous improvement mentality is essential, and you will implement a mindset through coaching and working in partnership with the Senior Management team, Supply Chain, and Planning team to ensure that business and operational results are achieved.
About the Role:
- Drive scheduled cycle counts to identify and adjust stock levels
- Utilize and interpret data and reports to support operational duties and reduce shrinkage loss
- Monitor and investigate negative stock levels and follow up with the store team
- Implement a continuous improvement mentality through coaching and collaboration with senior management and supply chain teams
- Serve as the point of contact for distribution and organization of stock levels
- Train and educate the wider team on shrinkage and back-of-house policies and procedures
- Process and replenish the arrival of stock, manage returns in a timely manner, and liaise with external stakeholders for stock pick-up
Requirements:
- Previous retail stock management experience across areas of cycle counts, product launches, visual merchandising, people management, managing profit & loss of stock levels, and sales forecasting
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint & SAP (desirable) to interpret and input data for daily reporting
- Suitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weigh up to 15kg
- Drive for results with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPI's
- Passion for excellent client service and experiential retail by tracking stock levels to ensure your store represents the brand
