We seek an experienced, reliable and qualified Fitter to work as part of our Engineering Team to assist with the refit and servicing of our pearling vessels and associated machinery.

* Competitive salary based on 38-hour work week, with paid overtime and weekend work available
* Based primarily in Darwin, with some travel to our Pearl farms when required to meet business needs
Pearl Farm Engineering (PFE) seeks a reliable and self-motivated Mechanical Fitter with an excellent work ethos and a proven work history.
Key responsibilities:
* Working on Company’s refit and servicing programs
* maintenance of onsite machinery and power generation equipment.
* Undertaking mechanical refits, servicing and overhauling of pearling equipment
The successful candidates must:
* Hold a mechanical trade qualification
* Hold a current driver’s license
* Be able to pass a Pre Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol test
* Be a resident of Darwin.
Desirable but not essential:
* Hold a current High Risk Forklift Ticket
* Hold a Construction White Card
* Hold a Confined Workspace qualification
* Hold a Work at Heights qualification
