The Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU) Service and Team: Deliver adult outpatient rehabilitation service working with clients with a diverse range of diagnostic conditions, primarily acquired neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury) and progressive neurological conditions (e.g. Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis). Comprise an interdisciplinary team (including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Dietetics, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Art Tutor, Allied Health Assistants) with a focus on client centred goal setting and rehabilitation planning. Work with clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals in our well-equipped centre and in their home and community. The Role: Work as an effective member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in the assessment, planning and delivery of nursing services for clients and their carers referred to the Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU), assisting the Clinical Nurse Specialist - Rehabilitation in ensuring best practice standards for nursing services are provided by CRU, in accordance with organisational policies, legal requirements and professional competencies. You will need: Demonstrated experience and expertise in the clinical management of clients with complex rehabilitation needs within a multidisciplinary team, including ability to liaise with relevant service providers and stakeholders involved in client care. Demonstrated commitment to the client-centred care model and understanding of its application to clients undergoing rehabilitation programs in the community. Proven decision-making skills, and high-level communication skills including conflict resolution skills. Details of appointment: Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for approximately twelve (12) months. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $78,179 to $99,316 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4 In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year other benefits if eligible.
